This year marks the ninth edition of the “Ani-Monozukuri Awards” since its inaugural event in 2017. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to KYOMAF, KYOTO CMEX, our supporting and sponsoring organizations, all the companies and groups that have applied in the past, and everyone involved in making this event possible.

Japanese animation has firmly established itself as pop culture enjoyed by generations both in Japan and abroad, while also growing in prominence as one of the key growth industries driving Japan’s economy.
In recent years, animation has been extensively utilized in marketing and promotion for corporations and regional revitalization, yielding significant results.

Through this award ceremony, we will continue to promote new business opportunities through collaborations between anime and diverse industries, serving as a bridge connecting the anime industry, corporate sectors, and local communities.

This year, we have newly established the “Special Award for Collaboration in Promoting Japanese Cuisine Abroad,” recognizing outstanding initiatives that leverage IP content to contribute to the global dissemination of Japanese food culture. Through this award and our related seminars, we hope to inspire more food industry professionals to recognize the potential for strengthening export capabilities through IP content utilization.

We sincerely hope that this award program—Japan’s only event showcasing outstanding works from both domestic and international participants—will serve as a catalyst for more companies and organizations to apply, ultimately contributing to the growth of your businesses.
